Account Deletion and Data Handling

The Japanese-language document is the legally binding version. This English edition explains how to request account deletion and how data is handled afterwards. 1. Deleting from the App (when you can sign in)
- Sign in to KyaraFlip (Android app or browser).
- Open your avatar menu → `My Page` → `Settings`.
- Press the `Delete account` button in the danger zone and confirm the dialog.
- You are signed out immediately while deletion processing begins.

- The same flow is available in the Android Trusted Web Activity. Authentication prevents unauthorised third parties from deleting your account.
2. If You Cannot Sign In
- Use the in-app `Support > Contact` form or submit a ticket via https://kyaraflip.com/en/support/report.
- We may request verification (registered email, recent transaction IDs) to confirm ownership.
- If email is the only option, write to support@nex-a.net with the subject “Account deletion request”.
3. Data Erased or Anonymised Immediately
- Login email, username, handle (`users` table)
- Avatar and bio (`user_profiles` table)
- External payment references (Stripe / PayPal IDs)
- Session cookies and authentication tokens
These actions disable the account and remove personal identifiers.
4. Data Retained Under Legal Exceptions
To comply with law, fraud prevention, and accounting obligations we retain:
- Payment and royalty ledgers (internal IDs + processor reference IDs only): retained for up to seven years
- Security / abuse logs: retained for up to three years
- Generative AI audit logs (prompts, outputs, and settings): retained long-term (potentially indefinitely) for rights enforcement, dispute resolution, and auditing
- Statutory bookkeeping records: retained per applicable regulations
We aim to avoid direct identifiers such as email addresses in residual records, but internal IDs and audit logs may remain.
5. Works (UGC) and Purchases
- Uploaded works remain published under the irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive licence granted in the Terms of Service. See the [Terms of Service](/en/legal/terms).
- Existing buyers retain access. A “stop new sales” toggle will be introduced separately.
- Outstanding royalties are settled; if payouts fail, funds are held under the unclaimed-funds policy.
6. Processing Time and Notifications
- Deletions initiated in the app take effect immediately and invalidate the session.
- Propagating deletions to backups and third-party processors (e.g., Stripe) completes within 72 hours.
- We will contact you via the support channel if additional action is required.
7. Linked Third-Party Accounts
- Sign-in methods include passwordless email link, Google, LINE, and optional X / Twitter OAuth.
- After deletion, provider tokens are revoked to prevent automatic recreation.
