About Live Cards
Live Cards are the characters you can bring into KyaraFlip adventures and streams. Each card bundles the profile, stats, backstory, voice presets, and presentation rules so you can drop it into any work or event.
Types of Live Cards
| Type | Description | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| Original Live Card | The source card managed by the creator. Distribution scopes, replica limits, and revenue rules are all configured here. | When you publish or sell your own character |
| Replica Live Card | A usage-rights card generated from an original. It inherits how the original can be used for play sessions or broadcasts. | When you want to travel or stream with someone else’s character |
- The UI labels both types simply as “Live Card” while badges and tooltips explain the difference.
- Replica permissions and redistribution rules are always defined by the original creator.

How Live Cards relate to Works
- You can publish a card on its own, but attaching it to a Work makes the context clearer.
- Works list the cards that appear in that project, letting fans discover all related characters in one place.
- See Works vs Live Cards for a full comparison.
Badges and Indicators

FAQ
Q. Can I modify a Live Card however I like?
A. Stay within the usage scope granted to your replica. If you need to rename or alter the look, follow the creator’s policy.
Q. Do I need an original card to publish a Work?
A. No. You can feature replicas inside a Work as long as the creator agreed to participate. Just make the attribution clear.
